TOM MONITOR?
TOM MONITOR, is a brand which exists as a music group, performance artist, artwork creator, photography, and various other entities. This all began in the southeast cities of Los Angeles County in the year 1987 when its namesake was a freshman in high school. It made more sense to not be stuck in one type of area of creativity, but to expand to meet needs of expression.
Left or Right
Of course, there are some rules to follow. But not in music and art. Inspiration comes from anyone and anything.
A blip on the radar
Tom Monitor, the lead vocalist, keyboardist, and founder of the brand has been in several L.A. based bands. From the early-90's to now. The style of music that is performed ranges from a pseudo form of death rock to rock/pop, and to whatever you wish to classify it as.
Many had doubts that TOM MONITOR would get off the ground initially. After radio play, self-promoted and released music selling well. This solidified the continuation of the music group component for a long time to come.
